Delusions 2. Hallucinations 3. Disorganized speech (e.g., frequent derailment or incoherence) 4. Grossly disorganized or catatonic behavior 5. Negative symptoms (i.e., diminished emotional expression or avolition) {c3} note: consider a rating of "1" if delusions are accompanied by tactile and/or olfactory hallucinations that are thematically related to the delusions (which would be consistent with a diagnosis of delusional disorder instead of schizophrenia). *must provide value
